Since 1998 I have taught several hundred students at the GRS Training Center in Emporia, Kansas. A typical class can consist of men and women of all ages, from all parts of the country, and from all walks of life. There may be professional jewelers who want to learn or improve their engraving skills, retired folks seeking a relaxing and profitable hobby, knifemakers, gunmakers, soccer moms, or school teachers. A beginner's class assumes you have no previous experience, and you will leave on Friday engraving complex and beautiful designs in brass and steel. My teaching methods are proven and some of today's best engravers have attended my classes.

If you prefer personal training, I offer private instruction in my home studio in Louisiana. I welcome students of all ages and levels of experience, including beginner, intermediate, advanced, hobbyist or professional, for jewelry, firearms, and knife engraving.
